Ace NMR-tube tip-off manifold 

NMR tube is inserted into the Ace-Thred port and tightened via bushing for vacuum-thaw work. Vacuum line is connected to the side hose connection (vacuum commonly used is 10^-6 mm Hg). The tube can then be tipped-off with flame. An aluminum shield bonded to the nylon bushing helps retard heat transfer. Each port is individually controlled by a smooth-acting, semi-needle, threaded PTFE plug. In the 2-port manifold, this allows removal of one tube while the other remains under vacuum. O-rings are FETFE® or Viton®. Use with 9 in. L NMR tubes.
