General description
Purge assemblies remove vapor contaminants and moisture, reducing the chance of reaction with the process gas which could damage the regulator and equipment. When used properly, a purge assembly can also enhance operator safety. Max. operating pressure is 3,000 psig. Please request Technical Information Bulletin No. AL-202 for cross-purge techniques.
Tee-purge: Two -valve system allows purge gas to remove atmospheric contamination prior to start-up or after cylinder change.
Cross-purge: Same functions as the tee-purge, with the option of vacuum for a more effective purge. The three-valve system also features an inlet isolation valve and a vent valve.
