Immunogen

synthetic peptide corresponding to human AP-2α, C-terminal sequence, (amino acids 420-437) conjugated to KLH.

Specificity

By immunoblotting, the antibody reacts specifically with AP-2α and may be used in indirect immunofluorescent staining of cultured cells. The sequence recognized by the antibody differs from the corresponding mouse sequence by one residue and from the chicken sequence by 2 residues.

Physical form

Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 1% bovine serum albumin and 15 mM sodium azide.
