Monoclonal Anti-Assembly Protein 180 antibody produced in mouse 

membrane protein fraction from bovine brain-coated vesicles.

The antibody reacts in immunoblotting of bovine and rat brain preparations with the AP180 polypeptide (180 kDa) and with the proteolytic derivatives of AP180 (approximately 170 kDa). The antibody reacts with neuronal tissues and cultured cell lines. The antibody may be used in immunoaffinity purification. For immunocytochemistry applications, fixation with acetone or methanol is recommended.
