Preparation Note

Prepared using Protein A purified antibody coupled to cyanogen bromide-activated agarose at 2.0-2.4 mg antibody per mL resin volume.

Specificity

Binding capacity is at least 5 nmoles of HIS tagged protein per 1 ml settled resin (i.e., 25-250 μg protein/ml settled resin, for proteins of 5-50 kDa, respectively).

The antibody recognizes synthetic polyHistidine, as well as native or denatured, reduced forms of proteins tagged with 6X histidines, expressed in selected vectors.
