Analysis Note
The biological activity is measured by its ability to neutralize recombinant human CD30 ligand on HDLM-2 cells, a Hodgkin's lymphoma cell line.
Physical form
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline.
Biochem/physiol Actions
CD30, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein, is a member of the TNF receptor family. CD30 has a crucial role in the pathophysiology of Hodgkin's disease and other CD30+ lymphomas. The ligand for CD30 is CD30 ligand (CD30L). CD30-CD30L interaction mediates cell proliferation, cell activation, cell differentiation, and cell death.
General description
The extracellular domain of human CD30/Fc Chimera (amino acids 1-379) is fused to the C-terminal Fc domain of human IgG.
