Evodiamine 

Evodiamine is an indole alkaloid found in Evodia rutaescarpa. It acts as an anti-inflammatory compound; the mechanism of action may be inhibition of prostaglandin E₂ synthesis or by cyclooxygenase 2 induction and NF-κB activation.¹ Evodiamine has been studied for multiple cellular effects, including apoptotic activity², interference with metastasis³ and inhibition of angiogenesis.⁴
