Analysis Note

The biological activity is measured by its ability to inhibit human FGF acidic-dependent proliferation of NR6 cells.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Extracellular domain of one variant of the multiple forms of the receptor for FGF. Its IgIII domain differs from that of FGFR-2β (IIIb) due to alternative splicing. Possesses a higher affinity for acidic than for basic FGFs.
