Application

For simple, one-step detection by immunocytochemistry. Especially useful in detection of FLAG fusion proteins expressed in murine host, where secondary anti-mouse antibodies may cause cross-reactivity.

Specificity

Binds to the FLAG epitope wherever it is located in the fusion protein: amino-terminal, Met-amino-terminal, carboxy-terminal, or internal. Binding is not Ca²⁺-dependent.

Solution in 10 mM phosphate buffered saline, plus 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide, pH 7.4
