Magnetic separators 

A 6 × 12.5 cm frame with 24 embedded magnets. A vertical separation is recommended: place the separator against the side of an upright tissue culture flask. Separation is complete in 3-10 minutes. Two flasks can be treated at once, with one separator sandwiched between them. For faster, enhanced separation, one flask can be sandwiched between two separators, arranged to attract each other.

Plastic frames with embedded permanent magnets for affinity filtration with magnetic matrices. These separators attract magnetic particles and bound material to the side of the vessel. Unbound soluble components remain in the supernatant, and particulates settle to the bottom.
