Specificity
The antibody reacts specifically with the non-phosphorylated non-activated form of p38 MAPK. Cross-reaction is observed with the threonine monophosphorylated peptide, but not with the diphosphorylated or tyrosine phosphorylated peptides of p38 MAPK. It does not recognize JNK, ERK1 or 2-MAPK.
Physical form
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
