Unique human oxidoreductase that uses Dihydronicotinamide riboside (NRH) as a cosubstrate, not NAD(P)H. Activates anticancer prodrugs. Putative melatonin receptor.

Unit Definition

One unit will catalyse the reduction of 1.0 micromole of Cytochrome C per minute in the presence of Menadione and 1-Carbamoylmethyl-3-carbamoyl-1,4-dihydropyrimidine at pH 7.4 at 37 deg C.
