Immunogen

synthetic peptide corresponding to residues around pSer⁷⁸⁰ of the human retinoblastoma tumor suppressor protein (Rb).

Preparation Note

Purified using protein A and affinity chromatography.

Specificity

Recognizes Rb phosphorylated at Ser⁷⁸⁰ and does not react with non-phosphorylated Rb. Does not react with Rb phosphorylated at other sites.

Physical form

Solution in 10 mM sodium HEPES, pH 7.5, containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 100 μg/ml bovine serum albumin, and 50% glycerol.
