General description

vivoSIS¿ Cell Culture Products are extracellular matrix substrates with three-dimensional architecture. The material contains growth factors, proteoglycans, glycoproteins, glycoaminoglycans and at least three types of collagen. The extracellular matrix is not reconstituted, but is derived from a natural source - porcine small intestine submucosa. As shown in the SEM¿s, the architecture of each side is different. The sides also have different porosities and permeabilities. These products have been used for various cell culture applications, including evaluation of chemotaxis or cell adhesion and for use as a substrate for cell differentiation and cell proliferation. They are NOT for use in humans or in vitro diagnostics.
