Analysis Note

The biological activity of VEGF-D is measured by its ability to bind to recombinant human FLT-4/Fc in a ELISA assay.

Biochem/physiol Actions

VEGF-D promotes angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis. It binds to VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3 on endothelial cells.
