Wet Blotters 

Wet blotters are designed for Western, Southern, or Northern Blotting. Proteins and nucleic acids from agarose or acrylamide gels can be transferred onto nitrocellulose, nylon, DEAE, or other derivatized paper.
The Mini and Standard blotters each include removable platinum electrodes, a safety cover, and power leads. The standard blotter includes one gel cassette, while the mini blotter includes four gel cassettes. The cassettes include two Scotch-Brite pads and two hinged, perforated fiberglass panels.
The Standard-blotter can hold up to three cassettes and the Mini-blotter can hold up to four cassettes allowing for multiple transfers at one time. The Mini-blotter features an internal glass cooling base. The cooling tube for the Standard-blotter must be ordered separately.
The Mini-blotter cassette can accommodate gels up to 10 × 10 cm. The Standard-blotter can accommodate gels up to 15 × 21.5 cm.
The Mini wet blotter is designed for Western blots.
