Description
Biochem/physiol Actions
Product #
Astressin ≥90% (HPLC) Highly potent CRF antagonist.
A4933
Corticotropin Releasing Factor Antagonist ≥97% (HPLC) The corticotropin releasing factor (CRF) antagonist α-helical CRF [9-41] exhibits 10-fold higher affinity for rat CRF receptors over human CRF receptors. It has been used to elucidate the role of CRF in various physiological systems. In colonic epithelium, it abolishes CRF-induced changes in ion secretion, and significantly inhibits CRF-stimulated conductance. It antagonizes the CRF-induced proinflammatory degranulation of perivascular mast cells that are activated in response to acute psychological stress and CRF secretion.
C2917
Corticotropin Releasing Factor bovine ≥90% (HPLC), Synthetic CRF is a hypothalamic peptide that releases ACTH and endorphin from the anterior pituitary. It is also a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, and is involved in autonomic and endocrine responses to stress.
C2671
Corticotropin Releasing Factor Fragment 6-33 human, rat ≥97% (HPLC) CRF fragment that binds with high affinity to the CRF binding protein (CRF-BP) but has low affinity for the CRF receptor. Displaces CRF from CRF-BP.
C0961
Corticotropin Releasing Factor human, rat ≥95% (HPLC) CRF is a hypothalamic peptide that releases ACTH and endorphin from the anterior pituitary. It is also a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, and is involved in autonomic and endocrine responses to stress.
C3042
Corticotropin Releasing Factor sheep ≥95% (HPLC) CRF is a hypothalamic peptide that releases ACTH and endorphin from the anterior pituitary. It is also a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, and is involved in autonomic and endocrine responses to stress.
C3167
Sauvagine ≥97% (HPLC) A peptide related to CRF and urotensin 1 that was first isolated from the skin of the frog Phyllomedusa sauvagei. Potent releaser of ACTH and β-endorphin from the anterior pituitary.
S3884
Tyr-Corticotropin Releasing Factor Human, Rat ≥97% (HPLC) C6426
Tyr-Corticotropin Releasing Factor Ovine ≥97% (HPLC), Synthetic C0922
Urocortin rat ≥97% (HPLC), powder Binds to CRF receptor types 1, 2α, and 2β; stimulates cAMP accumulation from cells transfected with these receptors. Acts in vitro to release ACTH from rat anterior pituitary cells.
U6631
Urocortin human ≥85% (HPLC), powder Binds to CRF receptor types 1, 2α, and 2β; stimulates cAMP accumulation from cells transfected with these receptors. Acts in vitro to release ACTH from rat anterior pituitary cells.
U4127
Urocortin II mouse corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) peptide
U9507
Urocortin III human ≥97% (HPLC) Selective ligand with high affinity for CRF2 Receptors
U1008
[pGlu110]-Prepro-Urotensin II Fragment 110-123 rat >98% (HPLC), solid Potent vasoconstrictor.
U8132
Urotensin II human ≥97% (HPLC), synthetic A neuroendocrine peptide of the CRF family that was originally isolated from fish brain but is also found in mammalian brain and spinal motor neurons. It is a potent vasoconstrictor. It may be a mediator of stress-induced anorexia.
U7257
Urotensin II mouse ≥97% (HPLC), synthetic A neuroendocrine peptide of the CRF family that was originally isolated from fish brain but is also found in mammalian brain and spinal motor neurons. It is a potent vasoconstrictor. It may be a mediator of stress-induced anorexia.
U7382
Urotensin II rat ≥97% (HPLC), synthetic A neuroendocrine peptide of the CRF family that was originally isolated from fish brain but is also found in mammalian brain and spinal motor neurons. It is a potent vasoconstrictor. It may be a mediator of stress-induced anorexia.
U7507
Urotensin I teleost fish ≥95% (HPLC) A neuroendocrine peptide of the CRF family that is found in the brain of most fish species. It may be involved in the regulation of blood pressure in fish. It is closely related to mammalian urocortin and releases ACTH from cultured rat pituitary cells.
