The SAX1 anion-exchange column has a strongly basic quaternary aminopropyl phase and is used for separating anions. Suitable for L14 per USP.
LC-SCX cation-exchange columns have strongly acidic propylsulfonic groups and are used for separating cations. Suitable for L9, L52 per USP.
