Pd EnCat™

Pd EnCat™ (encapsulated palladium catalysts) utilizes microencapsulation technology to immobilize palladium, optionally with activating ligands, within a highly crosslinked polyurea matrix. The catalytic activity of palladium is accessed through the porous matrix, thereby leaving the palladium captured within it. The technology facilitates clean-up of reaction mixtures, reduces Pd-contamination in products, eliminates cost of extractions and washing solvents, and allows for catalyst recovery.
