Rasta Resins

Rasta Resins offer a novel macromolecular architecture where the functional groups are not located in the cross-linked regions of the polymer matrix as is the case with traditional 1-2% Poly(styrene-co-divinylbenzene).1 The longer linear functionalized ends stem from the non-functionalized cross-linked core. This architecture allows for increased loading with minimal swelling.

Sigma-Aldrich currently offers 5 Rasta Resins. If you would like to suggest a Rasta Resin that we do not offer, please email us at DrugDiscovery@sial.com.
