Peptide Resins

Sigma-Aldrich offers resins as supports for solid phase peptide synthesis and solid phase organic synthesis for use in medicinal and combinatorial chemistry. The desired product binds to the polymer beads, which allows the product to be isolated by filtration. After filtration, the product is cleaved from the resin.

Poly(styrene-co-divinylbenzene) 1, 2%, and macroporous cross-linked – These are the most widely used supports for SPOS/SPPS.

JandaJels™ - These novel supports exhibit superior swelling characteristics relative to polystyrene based beads.
