Description

Analysis Note The SLB-5ms column was found to give good peak shape and response for a variety of explosives. This applications shows the GC-MS analysis of 13 different explosives on a short, thick film column. This dimension was chosen to reduce analysis time while still providing good peak shape for early eluting compounds and good response for the trinitro compounds. A pulsed injection in combination with a narrow bore focus liner were used to increase the speed of sample transfer onto the column.
