Description

Analysis Note A novel designer drug first developed in the 1960′s as a research chemical, MDPBP first emerged as a legal high in Europe in 2009. This synthetic cathinone and bath salt is often sold in the US and other countries under the name "NRG-1" as a mixture with other substituted cathinone derivatives such as flephedrone, pentylone, and MDPV. Astec CHIROBIOTIC V2, based on vancomycin CSP, provided resolution of the enatiomers. CRMs from Cerillliant provided reliable identification and quantification.
