Description

Analysis Note Zopiclone is a nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic agent used in the treatment of insomnia. It is one of the so-called "Z-drugs." Because they are additive and can be abused, their analysis in urine is necessary. Shown here is the rapid, sensitive analysis of zopiclone and its metabolites from urine on a Fused-Core Ascentis Express column under UHPLC conditions. Cerilliant CRMs provided reliable quantification.
