Sample preparation:
In the determination of chromic acid - content (content of chromium VI) the concentrated bath liquors must be appropriately diluted.
In a 500 ml standard volumetric flask place 3.0 ml of bath fluid, cooled to room temperature, fill up to volume with water GR and mix well. Pipet 2.0 ml from this solution into a 500 ml standard volumetric flask and fill up to volume with water GR.
      
Analysis:
Determine with the above mentioned test kits
          
Calculation:
Chromic acid content in g/l CrO3 = analysis value in mg/l Cr x 80
