Sample preparation:
Adaptation to the measuring range appropriate to the sample can be achieved by selecting the most suitable test. Higher concentrations of COD (> 90 000 mg/l) require dilution of the sample with COD-free water.
 
Analysis:
Determine with the above mentioned test kits.
 
Calculation:
COD content in mg/l COD = analysis value in mg/l COD
If the sample has been diluted with water, the result should be multiplied by the dilution factor.
