Sample preparation:
Cleaning solutions contain, beside from pebble brine (highly disperged silicic acid), condensed phosphates and soluble phosphorus acidic ester. In a standard volumetric flask dilute the sample according to the expected
P-content 1:100 to 1:200 with water for analysis and filter it.
 
Analysis:
Determine with the above mentioned test kits.
 
Calculation:
Multiply the analysis value with the factor of dilution of the sample The result is equal to phosphorus (total) content in the original sample.
