Sigma-Aldrich has developed an aggressive initiative for the evaluation of novel technologies that can enable the scientific community. This initiative provides Sigma-Aldrich with the opportunity to continue to offer new and novel technology-based products to researchers in academic, medical and industrial institutions, throughout the world.
A core component of the Sigma-Aldrich strategy involves identifying, evaluating and procuring novel technologies. The Sigma-Aldrich Business Development, Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property Management Team plays a key role in implementation of this strategy. This team has negotiated licensing, collaborations, sponsored research and many other types of arrangements with prestigious Universities and Corporations around the world on behalf of the three Sigma-Aldrich Business Divisions. Our goal is to seek out and obtain promising technologies and intellectual property that fit the Sigma-Aldrich business strategy and insure successful achievement of the goals of all participants. The arrangements of interest include: in-licensing, sales and marketing collaborations, product development and commercialization collaborations, partnerships and sponsored research, among many others.
Sigma-Aldrich's achievements in the successful research, development and commercialization of hundreds of new and valuable products each year should make us your first choice as a partner for new technology opportunities.
