The Briggs & Al's Run & Walk is dedicated to raising funds for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, the region's premier center for pediatric care. Bearing the name of Marquette University's beloved NCAA champion basketball coach, Al McGuire, the event routinely attracts over 17,000 participants. Since its inception, over $9.6 million has been raised for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to help the children.
This year's 32nd annual event will be held on Saturday, October 10th, starting 10:15 a.m. at Milwaukee's Marquette University, and will end at the lakefront Summerfest grounds.
