シリカゲル(Si)にジルコニア(ZrO)を化学結合

シリカゲル(Si)にジルコニア(ZrO)とC18を化学結合

 

ジルコニア(左)とC18(右)の保持メカニズム

水酸基はZ-Sepのジルコニア基とのルイス酸-塩基相互作用により保持

 

C18との疎水性相互作用により保持

Z-Sepは、C18と組み合わせることにより、あるいは、Z-Sep+を単独で用いることにより、全てのオレインを除去可能。同様にモノ-、ジ-、トリグリセリドも除去可能。

 

Z-Sepの色素除去能

 

Z-Sepには、カーボンにはない色素除去能が認められ、特にPSAにはない色素(緑色、黄色)除去能もある事が示唆されました。
