Co-Culture Plates

IdMOC® or Integrated Discrete Multiple Organ Co-culture is an in vitro, cell culture based model for the study of intercellular communication. In conventional single cell-type cultures, each cell type is studied in isolation ignoring critical interactions between organs or cell types. IdMOC technology provides a physiologically relevant in vitro model based on the concept that multiple organs signal or communicate via the systemic circulation (i.e., blood).


IdMOC Neural Cell Model
:
  • IdMOC plates can be used to successfully co-culture the following cell types using proprietary media-Universal Plating Medium- from AP Sciences, Inc.
  • Neuronal cells
  • Astrocytes

IdMOC Multi-organ Model:

  • IdMOC plates can be used to successfully co-culture the following cell types using proprietary media-Universal Plating Medium- from AP Sciences, Inc.
  • Neuronal cells

  • Hepatocytes
