The following is a guide to help define which Aldrich® Chemical Manager Software components are needed for your application.

Component Definitions

Z566934 — Aldrich® Chemical Manager Software, single seat, single computer, 1 year subscription

• Stand-alone, base software license
• Single seat defined as software installed on one computer
• Operates independently or with add-on software licenses (Z567086)
• Unlimited add-on software licenses (Z567086) can be networked
• Unlimited users (chemist, technician, assistant, student, instructor, stockroom mngr, etc.)
• Unlimited storage locations (stockrooms, laboratories, cabinets, etc.)
• Unlimited inventory (chemicals, lab samples, etc.)

Z567086 — Aldrich® Chemical Manager Software, additional single seat license

• Add-on software license
• Single seat defined as software installed on one computer
• Computer must be networked with computer running base software license (Z566934)
• Does not function independent of base software license (Z566934)
• Each additional networked computer requires a separate add-on software license (Z567086)

Z567493 — Aldrich® Chemical Manager Software, custom

• When integrating data into existing business systems
• When unique reporting requirements need to be displayed
• When unique system requirements need to be met

Z566942 — Laser data collector scanner for 1-dimensional barcodes

• Hardware used to collect inventory movement
• Hardware downloads data to software (Z566934 and Z567086)
• Captures 1-dimensional barcodes (shown to right)
• It is suggested that each system user have a data collector

Z567620 — Laser data collector scanner for 2-dimensional barcodes

• Required for reading Sigma-Aldrich labels
• Hardware used to collect inventory movement
• Hardware downloads data to software (Z566934 and Z567086)
• Captures 1-dimensional barcodes
• Captures 2-dimensional barcodes (shows to right)
• It is suggested that each system user have a data collector

Z567639 — Barcode label printer

• Used to print unique 1-dimensional barcodes onto adhesive barcode labels
• Labels can be applied to chemical samples
• Labels can be applied to any product tracked by software (Z566934 or Z567086)
• Uses Barcode labels (Z567655)
• Uses Printer ribbon (Z567647)
