Inducting Existing InventoryXXXX

XXAfter Aldrich Chemical Manager Software is installed at your facility, existing lab chemicals and sample inventory needs to be manually inducted into the software. This can be done through the easy-to-use entry point show below. Once existing inventory is inducted, all future inventory receiving, consumption, and movement will be accomplished using barcodes.



Printing Inventory Barcodes

Barcodes are used to identify and differentiate your lab chemicals and samples. Barcodes supplied on containers by manufacturers can be used or barcodes can be created & printed from the software.

Prints onto an adhesive barcode label that can be placed directly onto lab chemical container or sample.

Managing Materials using Action Barcodes

There are several action barcodes produced by the software that allow you to manage your inventory:

Receiving Lab Chemicals and Samples

To receive a product into inventory, use the portable handheld scanner to scan the receive barcode.

The product is then being managed:
