Other Biocides for Use in IVD Applications

Sigma-Aldrich and SAFC also offer other preservative agents (sodium azide and thimerosal) traditionally used in IVD applications. However, while commonly used in the past, these preservatives may be deemed unsuitable in today′s IVD market, largely due to safety and disposal concerns.
