ABSTRACT This protocol describes the histological preparation of embryonic and adult zebrafish eyes. The methods described here can be easily adapted for use on other zebrafish tissues.
RELATED INFORMATION These methods have been employed in studies on morphological development of the zebrafish retina (Branchek and Bremiller 1984, Schmitt and Dowling 1999).
