I1398 Inhibin β-Subunit Fragment 67-94 human ≥95% (HPLC) Inhibin β-Subunit (also called as MSMB, microseminoprotein-β) is upregulated in ovarian cancer and is correlated with the levels of prostasin. Low expression of MSMB is linked with increased risk of prostate cancer. It is involved in the inhibition of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), thereby abolishing growth-enhancing activity of FSH in prostate cancer.
I8641 Inhibin α-Subunit Fragment 1-32 porcine ≥90% (HPLC) Inhibins are glycoproteins made of an α subunit and a β subunit. They suppress FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) secretion from the pituitary and also participate in control of gonadal functions. Inhibin α (INHA) is present in adrenal glands, pituitary gland, liver and placenta. It plays a significant role in male fertility.
