DNA Synthesis Inhibitors

Many of the regulatory feedback pathways are deregulated in cancer cells, resulting in the loss of genetic control of DNA synthesis. Small molecules that target various aspects of DNA synthesis are important because these compounds can uncover how the protein signaling pathways at work in cancer biology are regulated. Sigma offers therapeutics such as Bleomycin (Cat. No. B5507) which binds to DNA, causing scissions at specific base sequences, and Hydroxyurea (Cat.
