A number of dyed microparticles based on polystrene are also available. Dyes include dark blue and dark red. Other properties are the same as for the non-dyed particles:
- Density: 1.05 g/cm3
- Refractive Index: 1.59
- High monodispersity and uniform spherical shape
- Hydrophobic surface
- Non-specific adsorption of proteins
- Low temperature resistance up to 100°C
- Soluble in organic solvents (dependent on the degree of cross-linking)
- Swellable in organic solvents
- Coefficient of Variation (C.V. value) of <3 % for research grade particles and for particle size standards available
