Simply complete our Protein Bioguarantee Form online, and someone from our Technical Service team will contact you to complete your claim.

* Experimental results must be submitted via the Protein Bioguarantee Form within 12 months of the date of purchase. All required fields of the Protein Bioguarantee Form must be completed.     Check the individual product detail page on the Sigma website, and look for the Bioguarantee – Active Proteins statement. All active proteins covered by this Bioguarantee will feature a statement on their detail page. If the Bioguarantee – Active Proteins statement is not present on the product detail page, the product is not included in this Bioguarantee. Please keep in mind that this Bioguarantee is intended to cover only those proteins with biological activity confirmed by some type of functional or activity assay. Alternatively, you may direct your inquiries to Technical Service to determine if a specific product is covered.

  3. Is there a time limitation within which the protein must be tested in order for this refund policy to be valid?
    Yes, all data must be submitted via the Protein Bioguarantee Form within 12 months of the date of purchase. All required fields of the Protein Bioguarantee Form must be completed.

  4. Does the Bioguarantee for Active Proteins apply to more than one protein purchase? If I buy two active proteins and use them at different times, are they both guaranteed?
    Absolutely. The Bioguarantee for Active Proteins applies to as many active proteins as you would like to evaluate, provided they are under warranty at the time you submitted the Protein Bioguarantee Form.

  5. Does the product need to be returned if my experiment is unsuccessful?
    No, the product does not need to be returned, however you must complete all required fields of the Protein Bioguarantee Form.

  6. Once I fill out the Protein Bioguarantee Form, will I receive a refund or a replacement product?
    If your product was under warranty at the time you submitted the Protein Bioguarantee Form and you remain unsatisfied with the product, then we will either issue you a full credit that covers the cost of the protein or a replacement product, at your preference. All refunds and replacements are contingent to claim review by our technical service team, and product replacements depend on product availability.

  7. How soon after I fill out the Protein Bioguarantee Form can I expect my refund or replacement product?
    Our Technical Service team will review your Protein Bioguarantee Form and contact you within 48 hours to review the details of your experiment with you. Refunds and/or replacements will be provided within a reasonable time period after we reach you and determine the proper remedy for your issue.

  8. Is there an expiration date on this Bioguarantee for Active Proteins?
    There is not an expiration date on the program, but you must submit all required fields of the Protein Bioguarantee Form within 12 months of your purchase.
