Storage

• Oligonucleotides are stable in solution at room temperature for 1 to 2 weeks if the concentration is above 150ng/µl (20µM). For longer periods of time, oligonucleotides should be stored at -20°C(or -80°C, if possible).
• Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles and storing at concentrations below 150 ng/µl (20µM).
• Fluorescently-labeled, oligonucleotides should be protected from exposure to light or air.
• Under these storage conditions, Sigma-Proligo oligonucleotides are guaranteed for 6 months, but can be stable up to 2 years.

Never forget that DILUTION is one of the main factors affecting the conservation of your oligos: avoid storage of oligos at concentrations less than 20µM.
