Staphylococcus

The TargeTron Vector pNL9164 (T6701) is a circularized, expression vector derived from pNL9162¹. The vector can be used for targeted gene knockouts in gram-positive organisms such as Staphylococcus aureus¹. As supplied, the pNL9164 vector is retargeted to the hsa gene in S. aureus. For validation in S. aureus, this vector can be used directly to knockout hsa without any further modifications (protocol included).
