DNA Purification

Sigma provides a variety of kits that may be used to isolate DNA to begin your Epigenetic workflow. Our GenElute™ product line provides a simple and convenient way to purify high-quality Genomic DNA from mammalian cells and tissues, blood, and plants. Each kit utilizes a spin column format to rapidly extract Genomic DNA free of contaminants. The purified product is ideal for use in DNA Methylation analysis.

GenElute Plant Genomic DNA Miniprep Kit
Up to 100 mg fresh or 20 mg of freeze-dried plant tissue can result in DNA yields of 20 µg per prep. Individual preps take no longer than 40 minutes and do not require Rnase A digestion.
