 Basic Process

KiCqStart ReadyMixes are ready-to-use, highly sensitive master mixes containing all required basic components for qPCR. Simply add your primers and water to complete the assay cocktail. Aliquot the cocktail across desired number of tubes or plates then add your template. KiCqStart ReadyMixes may be run in either conventional or fast PCR mode.  Predesigned Primers and Gene Arrays

KiCqStart® SYBR® Green Primers are pre-designed primer pairs for gene expression. To comply with MIQE, they have been developed using sophisticated bioinformatics tools and validated in silico to avoid off-target amplification. Primer pairs were also designed to detect the most prevalent mRNA splice variant in eukaryotes for each gene, with amplicon sizes ranging between 75 and 200 base pairs. KiCqStart® SYBR® Green Primers Gene Arrays are the original KiCqStart Primers formatted into 96- or 384-well pre-plated arrays. Arrays may be customized and are available for designated research areas such as apoptosis, cell adhesion, cell cycle, cytokines and chemokines, nuclear hormone receptors, protein kinases and phosphatases.

Different real-time PCR systems employ different strategies for normalization of fluorescent signals and correction of well-to-well optical variations. It is critical to match the appropriate qPCR reagents to your specific instrument.  KiCqStart ReadyMixes contain ROX passive reference dye at concentrations recommended by these (and other) popular cyclers.
