Quantitative Reverse Transcriptase PCR (QRT–PCR) provides a highly sensitive method for the quantitative analysis of gene expression. Sigma's QRT–PCR ReadyMixes combine the advantages of Enhanced Avian Reverse Transcriptase (eAMVTM RT) and JumpStart Taq in a convenient ReadyMix designed for either probe based or SYBR based QRT–PCR. Regardless of difficult secondary structures or detection chemistry, Sigma's QRT–PCR ReadyMixes are specially formulated to help you achieve superior results.
- Increased Thermostability and Processivity
eAMV reverse transcriptase has the ability to transcribe through difficult secondary structures at elevated temperature (up to 65 °C).
- Greater Specificity & Sensitivity
Inactivated by a taq–directed antibody, Sigma's JumpStart Taq enzyme decreases non–specific amplification while enhancing target yield.
