The Plant Biotechnology Group was started in 2001 and consists of scientists from diverse backgrounds in molecular and plant research all focused on developing plant research tools that help plant biologists attain their goals.

The Sigma Plant Biotechnology group contributes to the plant community with innovative products and is proud of the relationships built upon by the many collaborative projects they have undertaken with the both the industrial and academic plant community.
