22 Unique Proteins Revealed with ProteoPrep 20
The ProteoPrep 20 Plasma Immunodepletion Kit specifically removes 20 highly abundant proteins (representing 97% of the proteome) at 99% efficiency, revealing a new layer of highly abundant proteins. Initially, the gel image above appears to be similar to an undepleted sample, but identifications via mass spectrometry indicate that the visible proteins are not members of the list of twenty high abundance proteins specifically removed. They are, indeed, unique to a sample depleted with the ProteoPrep 20 technology.

ProteoPrep 20 Plasma Immunodepletion Kit
ProteoPrep 20 spin columns specifically remove 20 of the most abundant proteins from human plasma or serum to reveal previously masked protein biomarkers. Additionally, this facilitates a 20-fold increase in the relative amount of revealed proteins that can be subsequently studied and analyzed. Designed for use with bench top centrifuges, ProteoPrep 20 spin columns can accommodate a sample load of 8 µL plasma or serum and can be used up to 100 times each. ProteoPrep Blue Albumin & IgG Depletion Kit
ProteoPrep Blue Albumin Depletion Kit is designed to specifically remove albumin and IgG from 25 samples of human serum (25 µl to 100 µl) in preparation for two-dimensional electrophoresis (2DE). Albumin-depleted serum samples generated by this kit are in urea rather than salt-based buffers with little dilution, eliminating the need to precipitate the sample prior to performing 2DE.
