Sigma-Aldrich, Co., LLC (a subsidiary of Sigma-Aldrich Corporation) has sold the Sigma Advanced Genetic Engineering (SAGE^®) Labs business to a leading Life Sciences private equity firm.

Sigma-Aldrich retains its CompoZr^® Zinc Finger Nuclease (ZFN) custom cell engineering technology license. A supply agreement with the Buyer will enable access to this innovative platform for the development of research animal models.
