The need for reliable, predictable ADME/Tox assays for preclinical testing of drug compounds is paramount to reducing late stage drug failures and advancing the drug discovery pipeline. Many current assays are lacking in predictability or are in the wrong model systems. Sigma^® Life Science is applying our exclusive CompoZr Zinc Finger Nuclease technology to the ADME/Tox field to create novel cell based assays for drug candidate screening. These novel assays are being developed to improve drug development efficiencies, through-put, and predictability, leading to safer, more efficacious drugs while reducing costs and time to market.
