Homobifunctional PEGs

Homobifunctional poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), otherwise known as poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) or poly(oxyethylene), derivatives are synthetic polyethers containing two of the same type of functional group, available in a range of molecular weights and various functionalities, such as amines, azides, maleimides, NHS esters, and thiols. Homobifunctional PEG derivatives can be used for many applications including the functionalization of surfaces and nanomaterials and as cross-linkers for proteins, peptides, and other biomolecules.
