New Zealand Hazardous Goods Warehouse

Sigma Aldrich is proud to announce the launch of our hazardous goods warehouses in
Auckland and Christchurch. Surface freight items that previously took months to arrive,
can now be delivered within two to four days.

The good news is that we are able to offer this improved service at no additional charge to
our customers. The costs involved in establishing and maintaining the local warehouses are
offset by the cost savings achieved by freight consolidation to New Zealand.

The products being held are predominantly items listed as “Dangerous Goods,” which are
required to be shipped as surface freight. Non-dangerous goods will still be
served from our Sydney warehouse, which keeps over 45,000 products ready for dispatch
to New Zealand.

We have generated our inventory list based on previous sales to New Zealand customers,
along with some products specifically chosen by customers. However, we invite you to
work with us to further build the inventory — it is our intention for our New Zealand
stock to be as useful as possible. If there are dangerous goods items which are useful
for your research, but not currently on this stock list, click here to let us know.
